Amanda Chapman – Eisenhower

Students are using their knowledge of vocabulary strategies to determine the meaning of unfamiliar words from context. A whole group reading is completed. Then, students work within groups to determine context clues and meaning of vocabulary words. Students then present the information to the class by underlining the context on the SMART board and telling the class what the word means. – Amanda
